Help Tallahassee Get a Gigabit Network

Tallahassee is being considered by Google as a trial location for their new Gigabit experiment. Google plans to build an ultra-high speed broadband network in a small number of trial locations. Towards this effort, Google is asking to hear about how this would make a difference in your life… so when you get a chance, tell your story here: http://getagigabit.com/ and help Google see why they need to choose Tallahassee!

Google Fiber for Communities Experiment

Google is planning to launch an experiment that we hope will make Internet access better and faster for everyone. They plan to test ultra-high speed broadband networks in one or more trial locations across the country. Google's networks will deliver Internet speeds more than 100 times faster than what most Americans have access to today, over 1 gigabit per second, fiber-to-the-home connections. Google will offer service at a competitive price to at least 50,000 and potentially up to 500,000 people.
