Printer-friendly view of this page.

As part of the education mission of TalTech Alliance, our lunch time speaker on July 15th will be Dr. Molly Wasko, from the Florida State University College of Business MIS Program.  The program has gone through significant changes that improve its ability to meet the needs of students seeking degrees and certification, as well as the businesses who hire them.

The topics for the talk include an overview of the online MS in MIS and MBA programs and how local companies can leverage these programs to raise skills of their existing workforce – a tool to surviving this economy. She will also highlight how the curriculum has changed – skill sets, certifications, new technologies, and how local organizations can custom-tailor executive education programs with the College of Business to meet today’s IT company needs.

Molly will discuss how to connect with graduating students using advances in social media platforms, and what current students are seeking and expecting from prospective employers. To conclude the talk, Molly will open the discussion to brainstorm strategies for building value-added relationships among the College of Business, local IT companies and TalTech.
