Introduction to Entrepreneurship - TCC Spark!

There are still a few spaces left in TCC Spark's Experienced Entrepreneur (ENT0001) course. ENT0001 is a non-credit, hands-on class for students and community members looking to explore, start or grow a business. Participants will develop skills such as: performing a competitor analysis, estimating an accurate sales forecast, creating a marketing plan, determining necessary (lean start-up or bootstrapping) expenses, and writing a business plan. Classes start on August 24.

Entrepreneur Excellence Program - Innovation Park

Deadline to apply: first 12 businesses to enroll by Oct. 3 

Innovation Park is now accepting applications for the Entrepreneurial Excellence Program Class 14. This ten-class program provides valuable advice to early-stage start-up businesses and entrepreneurs as they navigate through the vulnerable stages of business development. Focus areas include effective business models, team development, legal foundations, marketing strategies, funding insight, and entrepreneurial experiences.

6th Annual Tallahassee Science Festival at Kleman Plaza on Saturday, October 28th

This annual event brings together science from across the Tallahassee community. There is fun for children of all ages with more than 100 exhibits representing science, technology, engineering and math. Last year, more than 6,000 people came to enjoy a fun day of hands-on experiences. Don't miss the next Tallahassee Science Festival on Saturday, October 28th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Kleman Plaza.
